Blade Fontenot, born in Shreveport Louisiana, at 25 years old already has 3+ years of experience in the field of fitness and personal training along with an extensive back ground in CrossFit as a CF-L1 Trainer. His field of knowledge and training methods range from muscle building, functional fitness, HIIT/athletic training all the way to nutrition, weight loss, mobility and flexibility. Outside of helping others reach their goals and increase the longevity of their life here at Woodcreek Athletic Club, Blade sets his own goals and participates in his own activities and trainings such as Olympic Weightlifting, CrossFit competitions, rugby and obstacle races.
Daniel Treat is a certified personal trainer and has been for 9 years. Daniel specializes in multiple fitness levels and is also in competitive bodybuilding. Daniel focuses on sports specific training and also on basic lifestyle changes for anyone at ANY age. Daniel Treat is a top NPC prep coach here in East Texas.
Specializing in functional fitness and movement, Jeremy has worked in Tyler as a personal trainer since 2003. Having worked with a clientele ranging from young/high school/collegiate athletes to the general population of all ages wanting to simply better their quality of life, his goal is to teach proper movement and alignment in the body to allow for more efficient muscle recruitment and reduce injury. He studied Health and Kinesiology at the University of Texas at Tyler and obtained his personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Sam has been a certified personal trainer for 8 years. He created the popular Evolve Class that moved from XTC to Woodcreek. Evolve is a high intensity class that uses weights, works core and gets all your cardio in 45 minutes. In 2015 Sam won Best Personal Trainer in East Texas voted by the readers of B-Scene Magazine. Sam’s goal is to help each person hit their goals, if through weight loss, strength, increase muscle size or just to be healthier. Sam works with all ages from 12 to 88. Sam not only trains you but he will also build a macro based meal plan specifically for you and will track you through your progress with weight, measurements, and body fat reading. Edlin Wheat is a graduate from Texas A&M University with a degree in Health. Edlin grew up competing in sports throughout high school. Through sports, she found the positive benefits of exercise, and decided to pursue it further in her undergraduate years. She instantly fell in love with health and fitness, and had a strong passion to share it with others. After working in the medical industry, Edlin decided to continue pursuing fitness and became a personal trainer. During this time, she decided she would become an all-encompassing trainer. She noticed that the current fitness industry was lacking by only showing the aesthetics part of fitness, and not the lifestyle factor. Her main priority is to educate her clients on living an attainable healthy lifestyle, for themselves and their families. Edlin is a certified NASM personal trainer, NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist, CrossFit Level-1 Trainer, and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She aspires to help both English and Spanish speakers reach their fitness goals, and teach them the fundamentals of healthy living.
My name is Angela Teal. I've been a Certified Personal Trainer for over a decade. I grew up in the gym and have been actively pursuing a healthy lifestyle for most of my life. My parents are both personal trainers back in my hometown to this day. I specialize in getting the most from your time in the gym by focusing on goals-oriented training, injury prevention, proper form, body mechanics, and mind to muscle training. T train clients to be able to tweak their workouts and bust through plateaus. I enjoy working with senior citizens and special needs clients. I take pride in introducing new clients to the gym to help get past the feelings of being unsure or overwhelmed. I've been certified and weight management and meal planning for over 5 years. I can tailor macronutrients and micronutrients based plans that get the results while maintaining your energy. My nutrition guidance includes plans, habits training, and motivation along the way. Health and fitness is my passion, and i look forward to getting and keeping you motivated!
